# WAVE
> Open protocol and one API for video — for people and AI agents on the same rails. EVERY WAVE capability is agent-payable: an agent can discover, negotiate, and pay for any capability over HTTP-402 (x402) and the Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) — no account, pay-per-use, settled on Base mainnet. One gateway enforces auth, scope, entitlement, and metering.
